Job Share Monthly Salary: $2,103.50 – $2,921.00
Note: This position will receive a 2.5% Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA), which is not reflected in the salary listed in this posting. The increase will be effective February 1, 2026, and will be reflected in paychecks beginning March 1, 2026.
What is a Job Share?
A job share means two employees share one full-time position, each working part-time hours. In this role, you’ll work 20 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–12 p.m.), and our current team member works the other half of the schedule. Both employees receive pro-rated benefits and collaborate to ensure all responsibilities are covered.

What You’ll Do
You’ll provide administrative and program support to keep statewide risk management services running smoothly. If you enjoy organization, coordination, and being a trusted resource, this is the job for you!
Key responsibilities include:
Serving as a liaison with agencies, partners, and program customers
Supporting program managers with tracking projects, research, and reports
Coordinating meetings, trainings, and events
Managing shared inboxes, records, templates, and shared drives
Maintaining program files, databases, and administrative resources
Supporting risk consultation activities, including claims coordination, billing, and reporting
Assisting with website updates and administrative support across risk programs
Helping administer the Citizen Report program related to state vehicle use

What We Are Looking For
Minimum Qualifications:
Three years of secretarial or administrative support experience that includes coordinating office procedures, preparing narrative and statistical reports, and administrative data collection and analysis;
OR
An associate degree in general office occupations and two years of secretarial or administrative support experience that includes coordinating office procedures, preparing narrative and statistical reports, and administrative data collection and analysis;
OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience providing administrative or program support in a collaborative office environment
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage routine tasks and shifting priorities
Experience working with the public through multiple communication channels which include phone, email and in person customer contacts, including the ability to deescalate confrontational conversations.
Ability to coordinate meetings, trainings, or events, including scheduling and documentation
Proficiency with common office and document tools (such as Microsoft Office); experience with Adobe Pro or similar tools is helpful but not required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, while handling information with care and professionalism
Experience with how to handle public records.

Additional Details
This recruitment is for 1 Job Share (.5), permanent, part-time, SEIU-represented Administrative Specialist 2 position, and may be used to fill future vacancies.
*The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying salary range. If the successful candidate is PERS qualifying, the salary range will reflect the additional 6.95%.
