We are looking for individuals who have the ability to perform the following skills:

• Ability to work as part of a team that puts others first.
• Comfortable engaging and conversing with clients frequently throughout the work shift.
• Ability to multi-task throughout the day while taking direction from management.
• Comfortable with a “hands-on” approach and not shy to jump in to help with day to day tasks.
• Take constructive criticism to expand knowledge of exercise, communication, physical therapy, and the “why” behind what we do.
• Able to work quickly on your feet for the majority of a shift.
• Able to lift up to 45 lbs.

Tasks & Responsibilities

The PT Aide / Office Assistant at Roscoe Physiotherapy is responsible for assisting both clinical and front office staff with day to day tasks, ensuring a smooth and efficient clinic flow for both staff and clients by completing the following tasks:

• Work directly with office staff to assist with office tasks as needed
• Answering phones
• Scheduling patients
• Checking patients in and out
• Taking payments
• Filing
• Working directly with clinical staff to assist patients as needed 
• Maintain cleanliness of clinic and treatment areas
• Cleaning tables before and after treatment sessions
• Preparing treatment areas for patient visits
• Setting up/removing hot packs
• Logging experiences into EMR
• Create and distribute Home Exercise Programs (HEP) as directed by clinical staff
• Washing and folding clinic laundry
• Stocking clinic supplies

As with all positions within our organization, this role comes with an abundance of opportunity for growth for any associate who shows competency and willingness to learn. PT Aides at Roscoe Physiotherapy have gone on to grow their role and compensation by taking on the following responsibilities:

• Create, implement, and lead exercises programs for our Aftercare clients.
• Create and lead semi-private and small group classes for both Fitness and SeniorFit clients.
• Assist in programming home exercise plans for patients throughout their plan of care and upon discharge.
• Assist with marketing of the clinic both on social media and within the community.
• Represent Roscoe Physiotherapy at community events including health fairs, 5K’s, seminars, presenting to local sports teams, and other public speaking engagements.
• Become a coach and mentor for new team members.
• Learn the back end operations of a specialized medical clinic and grow knowledge of business operations.

SCHEDULE

• 20-25 hours/week, Monday - Friday. 
• Shifts may vary (some morning and evening availability needed).
• We are closed weekends and all major holidays but may request occasional weekend availability for community events or team meetings.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

A salary range of $12-$15/hour with opportunity for advancement with key competencies and metrics achieved.
