Pheasant Hollow Rehabilitation Aides play a hands-on role in helping clients achieve greater independence. Through encouragement, skill building, and direct support, you'll help individuals work toward meaningful goals every day.

Pay: Range starts at $15.25/hour (pay is calculated based on years of related working experience)

Shift Differential: Additional  $1.75 /hour when clocked in for 3+ hours between 3pm - 11pm

Schedule: Wednesday & Thursday | 12:00pm – 8:00pm

Job Summary & Deliverables

The Rehabilitation Aide assists a team of multi-disciplinary professionals to meet the therapeutic and daily living needs of clients with physical disabilities. The Rehab Aide assists in the operation of rehabilitative services, maintains the treatment area, and ensures that client living spaces meet program standards and client requirements.

Essential Functions

• Supports, encourages, and problem solves with clients through rehabilitation exercises and activities
• Provides positive role modeling and teaches social and behavioral skills
• Assists clients with daily routines as needed to support independent living
• Distributes medications as necessary
• Follows agency documentation policies for all phases of treatment, including assessments, care plans, treatment transitions and discharge plans, and client care
• Collaborates with internal and external multidisciplinary teams regarding clinical aspects of treatment
• Adheres to ethical and legal standards set by licensing boards and state regulations
• Meets direct care expectations
• Participates in ongoing professional development activities to meet licensure, certification, and/or other agency requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• None

Licenses/Certifications

• CPR certification 
• Valley de-escalation certification
• Driving positions require a minimum age of 21 and a current driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous healthcare or social services aide experience
