Runner - Kane County Concessions

The Kane County Cougars are seeking fast-paced, dependable, and team-oriented individuals to join our Concessions Team as Runners. As a Concessions Runner, you'll play a vital behind-the-scenes role by keeping our concession stands stocked and running efficiently during games and events. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Transport food, beverages, and supplies between the main commissary and concession stands.

• Restock concession items quickly and accurately during peak game times.

• Assist with set-up and breakdown of concession stands before and after events.

• Monitor stock levels and communicate supply needs to the Concessions Manager.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas and workspaces.

• Follow food safety and handling guidelines at all times.

• Support concession staff as needed with light prep, trash removal, or equipment transport.

• Assist cashiers in filling orders in a timely and courteous manner.

• Let Cooks and Manager know when food levels are low.

• Other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and walk or stand for extended periods.

• Must be punctual, responsible, and able to work in a fast-paced setting.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Previous experience in food service, warehouse, or event support a plus.

• Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays during the Cougars season.
