Scale Operator (Part-Time) - Biggs, IL

In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for many of our customers, helping ensure grain is accurately weighed, graded, documented, and directed throughout our facility. What You'll Do

• Weigh inbound and outbound grain trucks and issue scale tickets.


• Collect grain samples and perform grading tests as required.


• Record grades, weights, and other grain information accurately.


• Direct truck traffic to appropriate unloading and loading locations.


• Complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner.


• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.


• Provide exceptional customer service and assist in resolving customer concerns.


• Maintain accurate grain records and scale ticket information.


• Stay informed on grain contracts, marketing opportunities, and customer resources.


• Support a safe and efficient work environment.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED preferred.


• Strong customer service and communication skills.


• Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills.


• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.


• Positive attitude and professional demeanor.

Work Environment

• Primarily office-based with frequent interaction with truck drivers and grain operations.


• Exposure to grain dust, truck traffic, grain probes, and elevator operating equipment.
