Pay Rate: $18.45 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site-specific access procedures, verifying credentials, and supporting authorized entry and exit activities at a government location.
• Monitor entry points, check identification, maintain visitor logs, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or access concerns to appropriate personnel in a calm, professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with a problem-solving approach, assisting with emergency response activities and other security-related duties as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, lobbies, and perimeter areas to help identify unauthorized activity and support site policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Guard card is required. 
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
