Security Officer Patrol Part Time Weekends

As a Security Officer Access Control and Patrol in Watsontown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Access Control and Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor entry points, verify access, and support a professional, welcoming experience for visitors, customers, and staff. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through strong communication and customer service. Position Type: Part Time - Weekends 

Pay Rate: $19 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity for authorized personnel, visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or conditions that may require follow-up.
• Support retail operations by documenting daily activity, verifying credentials when required, and assisting with security-related concerns involving customers, staff, and/or merchandise areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control / Badge experience.
• Alarm panel experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
