Server (Restaurant Waitstaff) 1878 On the Lake | Part-Time

Position Details

• Shift: Flexible (Days, Evenings, Weekends)

What You’ll Do

• Provide attentive, professional food and beverage service to guests 
• Greet guests, present menus, and communicate daily specials 
• Take accurate orders and enter them into the POS system 
• Serve food and beverages, ensuring quality and accuracy 
• Monitor guest experience and respond promptly to requests 
• Set and reset tables according to restaurant standards 
• Perform side work and maintain clean, organized service stations 
• Stock supplies including condiments, tableware, and beverages 
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the dining area 
• Support team members to ensure smooth service 

 What We’re Looking For

• Previous server or restaurant experience preferred 
• Strong guest service and communication skills 
• Experience with POS systems preferred 
• Knowledge of wine and food pairings is a plus 
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment 
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude 
• Must be at least 18 years of age 

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods 
• Frequent lifting and carrying of trays (up to 25 lbs, occasionally more) 
• Frequent bending, reaching, and movement throughout the shift 

Work Environment

• Indoor and outdoor restaurant setting 
• Moderate to loud noise levels during peak service 
• High-volume, guest-focused environment
