Job Description - Silt Part Time Substitute Library Assistant

Garfield County Public Library District has a job opening for a Substitute at our Silt Branch.

Role: Substitute Library Assistant
Hours: Vary each week

The Role: As a Substitute Library Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include providing exceptional customer service, assisting with library operations, and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors. This role offers flexibility, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while contributing to the community.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering outstanding customer service to library patrons

Assisting with various library tasks, including shelving books and organizing materials

Providing support during temporary staffing shortages

Maintaining a clean and welcoming library environment

Performing basic computer tasks with proficiency

Collaborating with team members to achieve library goals

Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly Rate: $17.72 per hour.
Benefits: This position includes sick time, a 457B retirement plan with up to 3% District match, and an Employee Assistance Program.
