Speech Language Pathologist

Community Medical and Dental Care, located in Rockland County, NY, has an immediate opening for a part-time Speech Language Pathologist. We are looking for a speech therapist to join our team for Sundays and after-school hours.
 

Responsibilities:

• Identify developmental speech and communication difficulties/disorders in adults and children.
• Assess and treat swallowing and communication difficulties arising from a variety of causes including congenital problems or acquired disorders.
• Assess clients with oral motor, articulation and phonological disorders.
• Assess clients with receptive and expressive language delays and/or disorders.
• Devise, implement and revise relevant treatment plans.
• Write evaluation reports and progress notes in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Current NY license
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Bilingual in Yiddish
