Substitute Private Lessons Teacher (voice, guitar, drums, piano) - Austin, TX

About the Position

Velocity Music Academy is seeking fun, experienced, and professional music instructors to teach part-time at our Arbor Trails location. This teacher will be instructing IN PERSON at our school. Substitute teachers will be contacted when our regular teachers are traveling, performing, or ill and often move into regular teaching roles when they become available.

Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check.

Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $27-$30/hour. A 401(K) program with employer matching is available to all of our employees after 90 days on the job.
