Job Description
Position Responsibilities
The part-time staff member will support the Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness with a range of analytical and reporting activities, including but not limited to:
Assist with institutional survey data analysis and reporting
Support data collection and reporting for the STARS (Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System) initiative
Assist with configuration and administration of student course evaluation surveys
Contribute to the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards
Provide data analysis and reporting support for institutional research projects
Perform additional research and analytical tasks as assigned
Training and ongoing support will be provided by permanent staff.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and an understanding of the confidential nature of institutional data
Proficiency in data extraction, database querying, and report generation
Experience with statistical software, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and Microsoft Office
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced office environment and meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders in an academic setting
Applicants must not be currently enrolled as students at Stevens Institute of Technology
