Volunteer Opportunity: Gift Shop Volunteer

Volunteer Description:

• Hospital Gift Shop
• Fridays 12:30 PM - 4:00 PM

We are looking for a friendly and dependable volunteer to serve in our hospital gift shop on Friday afternoons. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys interacting with others and wants to make a meaningful difference in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities include:

• Greeting and assisting customers
• Operating the cash register
• Restocking merchandise and keeping displays organized
• Helping create a warm, welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff

Requirements:

• Commitment of at least 6 months
• Ability to follow hospital health and immunization guidelines
• Dependable attendance on Fridays from 12:30-4:00 PM
• Ability to follow HIPAA guidelines

Gift shop volunteers play an important role in brightening someone's day - whether it's helping a family member find the perfect gift or offering a kind smile during a hospital visit.
