L&R is the largest distributor and the 6th largest purchaser of cosmetics in the United States.  We now distribute over 40,000 items (cosmetics, toys, school supplies, hosiery, hair accessories, OTC, HBA and more) through 3 regional warehouse locations in Arkansas, New Jersey, Nevada. We have openings across multiple departments.

Shift: Monday through Friday 5pm to 9pm 20 Hours per week

Job Summary

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for supporting various departments including Putaway, Operators, Picking, and Shipping as well as the safety and success of the night shift Associates.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
• Ensure execution of our customers’ fulfillment and distribution requirements, monitor and maintain proper safety and security controls, and support appropriate integrity controls.
• Stock/replenish items to their appropriate departments and shelves with unpacked items
• Safely utilize forklifts and power jacks to move materials according to proper safety instructions and as directed
• Operate a lift truck or hoist shipments from receiving platform to storage/reserve area
• Determining work procedures, preparing work schedules and expediting workflow
• Ensuring that all employees are in compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations and other company-related policies and procedures

Supervision:

This position is frequently supervised by the Warehouse Supervisor. 

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• One year of leadership experience

Physical Demands

This position requires standing 80% of the day, light lifting (up to 50 lbs.) for 80% of the day, and stooping for 20% of the day.
