Women's Club Flag Football Coach

Temporary Part-time (Seasonal)       

The Women's Flag Football Coach is responsible for coaching the Women’s Club Flag Football Program. As a member of the Athletic Department, and under the direction of the Athletic Director and Assistant Athletic Director, the Women’s Club Flag Football Coach is responsible for the development of the Women’s Flag Football Program through coaching and administration.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Coaching

• Develop and execute practice plans, game strategies, and overall team management.

• Responsible for establishing appropriate skill development plans and instruction in team concepts and sports etiquette.

• Adhere to all medical directives when applicable and as directed, to support all aspects of athlete health and safety.

• Travel with the team to all games and tournaments.

• Collaborate with team leadership to identify, evaluate, and recruit potential team members.

Administration

• Serve as program liaison to the Athletic Department.

• Review player registration and conduct as applicable to College policies and procedures.

• Support club team leadership in activities such as club sport budget, purchases, and inventory.

• Provide appropriate communications to team members.

• Partner with club team leadership to conduct team meetings and meet with club leadership to discuss the goals and expectations for each season.

• Supervise any volunteer coaches (if applicable).

• Create a supportive and engaging environment for student-athletes.

• Act as a mandatory reporter for student issues and concerns and potential Title IX and College Code of Conduct violations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Knowledge and experience coaching Flag Football.

• Knowledge of the rules of Flag Football

• Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.

• Must be willing to travel to away competitions as a club sport coach unless waived by Athletic Department.

• Clear all background / clearance checks.

• Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.

• Pennsylvania background check

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

• Ability to successfully complete all required background and clearance checks, including Pennsylvania background checks.

Preferred Qualification:

• CPR /First Aid Certification

Compensation:

• $1,000 per season (equivalent to $16.50/hour for 60 hours)
