Accounting Analyst

Job Description

The Tax Analyst will work within the Argentina office and will be in charge of general tax compliance for the one/two legal entities under the supervision of a Tax Senior Associate and Tax Manager. You will have direct participation in the development of new corporate systems and their application in Argentina.

 

Key duties and accountabilities.

• Preparing Income tax, turnover tax and/or VAT estimation/tax returns (monthly and annual).
• Assisting the Tax Manager on audits and relationship with local tax authorities.
• Preparing income tax advances payments (monthly).
• Tax accounts revision and reconciliations
• Preparation of information regime to be submitted to AFIP (monthly)
• Management of Tax Authority web page accesses, control and reporting of accesses granted
• Preparation and control of purchase and sales digital books
• Collaborating on tax accounting and compliance with oversight on adherence to the organization`s tax policies. 
• Day to day consultation from internal areas
• Participation in local and corporate applications development

 

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accountant.
• 2 years of experience in tax compliance (Desirable).
• Be working or had worked in a big four firm.
• Knowledge on Tax Authority (AFIP/AGIP) applications (Desirable).
• Fluent English in both written and verbal communication.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Team-oriented and collaborative.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Proactive. 
• Service and detail oriented and ability to maintain relationships. 
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
