Looking for a role that provides an opportunity to work with stakeholders from every line of business/ function within JPMorgan Chase?  Join our Product Owner team that designs and delivers solutions that are most effective using the latest tools and technology.

As a Product Owner in our team, you will coordinate Legal Regulatory product changes that enhance business value.  You will translate requirements from our business users into user stories, refine and prioritize the product backlog, plan sprint scope and work with our technology team to implement and test product changes.  You will also triage and prioritize defects, plan data changes and oversee product quality. 

Job responsibilities

  • Product Owner responsibilities such as writing user stories, specifying acceptance criteria, refine and prioritize product backlog
  • Determine change requirements from our business users, provide options for delivery, and determine MVP scope needed to accomplish the business goal
  • Collaborate regularly with the development team and UX / UI team members across multiple time zones
  • Oversee stories that are in progress to manage technical clarifications and provide quality oversight
  • Drive sprint planning and take an active role in sprint retrospectives
  • Interact with the business stakeholders and liaise with the Senior Product Owner
  • Decide when to release product changes
  • Maintain documentation including produces flows, training and education material

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2-4 years Product Owner / Business Analyst experience
  • Strong knowledge in deriving customer requirements and maintaining relationships with key contacts
  • Good analytical skills for problem solving
  • Highly organized, good decision-making skills, detail-oriented and able to drive workstreams / projects
  • Enthusiastic in driving organizational change & being a collaborative team player

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Understanding of the Sprint facilitation in Jira and quarterly planning in Jira Align
