As Director of Content Design, you will have oversight and accountability for leading Rappi’s Content Design team to produce world-class written content in the products that millions of customers and hundreds of thousands of merchants and couriers use to save time, build their businesses and put food on the table. You will play a key role in upleveling the writing and content in our products by building and leading a team that creates all of our in-product content (including copywriting, product launch content, and localization) and ensures broad understanding and adherence to our voice and tone standards across all product surfaces. Every day, you’ll collaborate with design and product teams to deliver clear, empathetic, engaging content experiences that are customer-focused and align to strategic business objectives. This is a leadership role that requires a combination of creative and strategic thinking, strong leadership skills, and a deep knowledge of content strategy and UX writing best practices.

Como parte de Rappi, serás responsable de:

• Build and lead Rappi’s first Content Design team, with broad scope in size and complexity, including responsibility for copywriting, product launch content, and localization.

• Guide and support all content design during our product development process, from initial concept to reality.

• Ensure widespread understanding and adherence to our voice and content standards across all product surfaces.

• Identify ways to elevate and up-level the importance of content within design and product leadership.

• Hire and develop top content talent and act as a senior mentor throughout the entire design organization.

• Contribute to company-wide strategic goal-setting and execution.

Bien y ahora, ¿Cuáles son los requisitos para que yo sea parte de este universo de neón?

• 5+ years of experience creating multilingual, multi-country content and leading high performance research teams.

• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation writing, and delivery skills.

• Driven self-starter with excellent organizational skills who can drive content projects from start to finish.

• Deep and wide knowledge of content strategy and UX writing best practices.

• Experience overseeing Voice and Tone guidelines for mobile and web apps.

• Widely respected for the ability to hire and grow top notch UX writers and content designers.

• Ability to balance people management with hands-on execution.

• Fluent in English and either Spanish or Portuguese.

• This is a remote position in the Americas with preference given to candidates who can regularly work from Rappi's main offices in Buenos Aires, São Paulo, Bogotá, or Mexico City.
