They are committed to delivering top-quality products and services to customers while maintaining excellence in supply chain operations.Position Overview: I am seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Logistics to help my client optimise their logistic operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of logistics operations to ensure the efficient movement of goods throughout the global supply chain network.Responsibilities:Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimise efficiency and reduce costs.Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities.Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery of products.Negotiate contracts with carriers, suppliers, and other partners to secure favourable terms and pricing.Lead and develop a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support as needed.Ensure compliance with local and international regulations governing logistics operations.Continuously assess and improve logistics processes to enhance overall performance and customer satisfaction.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
