Lovell Minnick is a US Private Equity firm that invests in the global financial services industry, including related technology and business services companies,with a focus on helping to build long term value for clients, employees and shareholders.The acquisition will support the continuation of Charles Taylor's successful growth strategy, with a focus on expanding client relationships, broadening specialist capabilities and the range of services and technology solutions, deepening geographic coverage, and reinvesting in quality of service and technology.The RoleThe role involves analyzing, developing and repairing ETL solutions with Ab Initio (training provided by us). Depending on the candidate's experience, they could be involved in decision making processes on how to manage a solution or have more autonomy to develop a solution.It is important to have a functional view of the solution to be able to perform unit tests accordingly.Key Responsibilities- Demonstrate and champion Charles Taylor Values by ensuring Agility, Integrity, Care, and Accountability and Collaboration.- Ability to analyze requirements and user stories.- Development in ETL Ab Initio tool.- Tests execution in low environments.- Generation of test scenarios and execution of unit tests.- Analysis and design of solutions.- Troubleshooting development problems by analyzing the logs generated by the tool.- Productive failure analysis and root cause analysis.Required Skills- Advanced student or bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent experience).- ETL Toolbox : Knowledge in ETL tools (Talend, ISST, Datastage, etc) (preferred Talend).- Knowledge of SSIS and PowerCenter (desirable).- 2 years experienced in data-oriented projects (integration, migration, repository design)/ +2 years experience working on data and metadata-oriented projects.- Experience working with ANSI SQL statements.- Experience working with database engines (Oracle, Teradata, etc.).- Management in ServiceNow ticketing tools.- Scripting : Bash / Python.- Ability to analyze.- Documentation skills.- Autonomy, proactivity and good organizational skills.- Technical English (desirable).Why join Charles Taylor?We are very proud of the fact that nine out of ten of our people recommend Charles Taylor as a place to work.
