At CodeStack Systems, we build code and develop industry-specific software solutions on secure data platforms for projects that improve the human condition through technology. Our team is experiencing rapid growth and for this reason, we are looking for our first Human Resources Associate to help us set up our Employee Growth and Fulfillment Department.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role, and the Human Resources Associate will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of the company's human resources functions, including recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws and regulations. The Human Resources Associate will also develop and implement HR policies and procedures, and provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR-related matters.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of work experience in Corporate HR (ideally in mid-sized technology companies)
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Strong knowledge of HR principles and practices
- Experience in recruitment and onboarding
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus (desirable)
Required Experience
- Recruitment and selection of candidates
- Interview techniques such as the STAR+L method (desirable)
- Onboarding of new employees remotely
- Implementation of HR best practices (processes, tools, and organizational design)
- Experience in performance management and employee relations
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Administration, tracking, and updating of employee profiles
- Regular communication with employees to obtain or deliver important information
- Use of measurement and reporting tools to track employee-related data
- Writing creative job descriptions that represent CodeStack Systems’ values
- Interviewing of new candidates
- Implementing HR best practices (processes, tools, and organizational design)
- Candidate tracking and proactive communication to keep them updated
- Completion of employee contracts
- Presentation of quarterly updates regarding new employee arrivals, work anniversary recognitions, and any internal changes requiring employee involvement
- Maintenance and updating of the Organizational Structure
- Share important internal communications such as International Holidays, Recognitions, Birthdays, and Project Milestones
