Position Description
The Security Coordinator will be involved in all aspects of supporting the Mercedes-Benz Stadium Security Department and security contractors. This candidate must possess strong interpersonal communication skills while interfacing with numerous computer software systems. The Security Department Coordinator will contribute to and execute the NFL Code of Conduct reporting, become a master user of the stadium incident tracking program, and liaison with numerous departments on achieving synergy. This candidate will have split responsibilities providing administrative duties as well as operational involvement on a day-to-day basis and all event basis. The Security Department Coordinator will report to the Physical Security Manager at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Roles and Responsibilities
•Provide administrative support for the security department on reporting, project development,budgeting, event staffing and 24/7 security staffing
•Assist with 24/7 associate new hire training including content development and delivery
•Maintain paperless associate files for the 24/7 Security Department
•Must be highly organized and meticulous about task management for report development, dissemination,tracking, trending and 24/7 personnel management.
•Apply principles of “Management by Walking around” to assigned 24/7 team.
•Support the 24/7 Security Department as a master user of numerous software systems used by thesecurity department and other departments within Mercedes-Benz Stadium
•Assist Human Resources with associate onboarding processes as directed including processing of I9’s,facilitating background and drug tests and uploading new associate information
•Assist in management of the inventory and assists of the security department
•Perform “Security Manager on Duty” responsibilities for numerous and varied events that may beassigned to the 24/7 Security Department
•Complete assigned duties and reporting for assigned 24/7 shift and events
•Lead and manage the assigned 24/7 shift security team during
•Perform proactive discipline when necessary for team leadership
•Mentor, coach and train assigned staff under your guidance
•Recommend and nominate officers for meritorious conduct
•Lead the daily shift roll call and reporting
•Hold officers accountable for appearance and performance
•Perform required coaching check-in’s and goal setting as required by HR
•Assist with other duties as required by the Security Manager or Security department associates
•Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
•Monitor and maintain security systems, such as access control systems and security cameras.
•Respond to security incidents and assist in investigations as needed.
•Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure security needs are met.
•Maintain records and reports related to security incidents and activities.
•Provide support to the security team, including scheduling and coordination of security personnel
•Stay current with new and emerging security technologies and make recommendations forimplementation.
Qualifications Requirements
•Minimum 3 years of experience in Security, Operations, Event Management, Guest Services or HumanResources within the Sports & Entertainment Industry
•Proficiency in Microsoft products including Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint; Vizio; Outlook
•Experience and/or willing to learn 24/7 incident tracking, ABI Mastermind, and Genetec VMS (or likesystems)
•Comfortable training groups or individuals about operating systems and 24/7 security patrol techniques
•Must have the ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekend’s and holidaysand work any shift assigned
•Strong understanding of security best practices, laws, and regulations.
•Excellent communication and organizational skills.
•Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
