Senior Back-End Developer

We are looking for a talented Senior Back-end Developer to join our dynamic team!
This is a part time position that requires working during Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours and will involve supporting the team with backend development tasks.
Responsibilities include:
Document and evaluate any downstream impacts to business processes resulting from new features released on Shopify POS Collaborate with product owners on the client team to collect requirements for customizations, if necessary. Collaborate with data engineers on the client team to assess impacts to data flows of downstream systems, if necessary. Collaborate with architects to assess impacts to payload and performance of new features, if necessary. Maintain calendar and release schedule for new features Requirements 5+ years as a Backend Application Developer on web applications. Working knowledge of Shopify POS Education: Degree or certification in software development Communication: Fluent writing and speaking in English Great cross-functional communication skills Ability to function at a high-level within a highly productive delivery environment Good organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset. Preferred Qualifications: Excellent knowledge of TypeScript/Node JS. Excellent understanding of Object-Oriented Programming Excellent understanding of API (Rest, GraphQL). Good understanding of Shopify Plus & Public and Custom Shopify Apps Valuable having experience in other programming languages, such as Python/Ruby/PHP.
