About Our Client 

Our client is a non-for-profit organisation passionate and dedicated to providing a world-leading linen hire and laundry service throughout the greater Brisbane Region. They are currently seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to join their team in a permanent full-time basis located in Banyo. 

What You Will Be Doing 

As a Logistics Manager you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the logistics operations, including the planning, allocation and monitoring of all routes and trucks in the fleet. The role will also ensure adequate systems and processes are in place to enable efficient and financial operation of the truck fleet and management of staffing and their workflows are effective to ensure client expectations are met by deliveries and collections being on time and within budget.

Requirements: 

• Tertiary qualifications - Business, Management, Logistics & Supply, Transport, Distribution or equivalent on the job experience in a similar role
• Previous supervisory experience or a demonstrated ability to lead and manage a logistics/transport team 
• Proven experience in transport scheduling or dispatch using computerised scheduling tools (highly desirable but not essential) 
• Prior experience working in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including client services and operations teams 
• Managing the planning and implementation of a new fleet logistics schedule within the first 3-6 months of commencing in the role 
• Intermediate level competency with standard Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Covid & Flu Vax (or willing to obtain)
