Job Description - Business Development Manager - Urgent Position

We are hiring a dedicated Business Development Manager to join our growing team at Pharma People in Melbourne VIC.

About our Client:
 

Our client is a supplier of mobility products including walkers, wheelchairs and general aids.  For over 30 years they have built a reputation for delivering an extensive range of products and services to their customers.

Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Provide trials and demonstrations to our client’s customer base
  • Provide support to occupational therapists with healthcare equipment needs
  • Build strong relationships with customers
  • Engage existing customer relationships and pursue engagement with doctors, occupational therapists and in home carers 
  • Proactive outbound lead generation and appointment setting
  • Build strong relationships with prospective clients by creating relationships with KOL’s across Victoria


About You:

As an outgoing and positive individual, you enjoy working with a motivated team in a dynamic and evolving business.   As a Mobility Equipment Business Development Manager, you must have proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets on a consistent basis and a good level of commercial acumen. Demonstrated success in managing and achieving state targets and sales budgets is essential.

Your Profile:

 

  • Previous experience in mobility, disability and aged care equipment
  • Good communication, both verbal and written
  • Have strong organisational skills, be autonomous and self motivated
  • Willing to travel regularly within your designated territory
  • Successful previous territory management experience
  • Advanced experience in all Microsoft packages
  • Strong negotiating and relationship building skills
  • Target driven with the ability to work autonomously
  • Experience in solution-based selling, ideally within healthcare, aged care or retail.
  • Demonstrated lead generation experience including cold calling, online outbound prospecting, building sales campaigns, and successful appointment setting
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Motivated, passionate, and results focused.
