Position: Industrial Designer
Location: Elanora Heights NSW 2101
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: AUD 70,000 per annum plus superannuation

Key Responsibilities:

As an Industrial Designer at Landforms Pty Ltd, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, working on various projects that require creativity, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to design excellence. Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative outdoor and landscaping products from concept to completion.
• Create detailed sketches, 3D models, and prototypes to visualize and communicate design ideas.
• Research and select appropriate materials to ensure durability and sustainability in our products.
• Conduct rigorous testing and evaluation of prototypes to ensure functionality, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
• Utilize CAD software to produce detailed technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing.
• Work within budget constraints while maintaining the highest design standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design methodologies to enhance our product offerings.
• Prepare comprehensive design documentation for production, including BOMs, assembly instructions, and user manuals.
• Collaborate closely with other designers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure project success.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or a related field.
• Proven experience in industrial design, preferably in outdoor or landscaping products.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong sketching and prototyping skills.
• Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A passion for sustainable design and environmental consciousness.
