Due to continued growth Nexus Airlines is actively seeking a Workforce Planning Assistant to join our team.
About the role
As the Workforce Planning Assistant you will be responsible for assisting the Workforce Planning Manager with day-to-day operations and rostering.
Key duties and responsibilities of the role include:
- Utilise company software to prepare and publish flight and cabin crew rosters
- Ensure fair distribution of flight and cabin crew assignments within each roster period
- Ensure flight and cabin crew assignments comply with regulatory requirements and award conditions
- Planning and arranging air transport, accommodation and ground transport associated with flight and cabin crew assigned duties
- Assist with managing allowance claims
- Adhere to all policy and procedures and actively participate in meetings, learning and development opportunities.
- Liaise with ops centre staff as required to assist with schedule disruptions and operational changes effecting flight and cabin crew
To be successful in this role:
- Previous aviation experience working within the flight operations department
- Know or ability to learn scheduling rules applicable to flight and cabin crew
- A high level of computer literacy, including advanced Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Working knowledge of Air Maestro, or the ability to learn and adapt quickly to a new software system.
- Ability to demonstrate high level communication skills, both oral and written
- High level of confidentiality
- Ability to work flexibly with limited daily supervision and direction is essential
- Hold a current motor vehicle driver’s licence
