Logistics & Warehousing Lead - Energetic Workplace

Job Purpose 

Management of all aspects of Logistics and the Warehouse operation, including safety and efficiency

The Role and Responsibilities:

• Working closely with the Purchasing teams to ensure smooth running of Logistics, Warehousing & Supply Chain
• Ensuring all warehouse team members are correctly trained and authorised to perform their duties in a safe manner
• Ensuring the continued accuracy and high standards of receiving and issuing of all raw materials into the SAP warehouse system
• Organising and managing regular daily cycle counts and quarterly full warehouse stock takes and ad hoc as required to ensure consistent material accuracy
• Monitoring inventory levels and Inventory turns.
• Developing and implementing inventory control practices.
• Liaising and negotiating with vendors and suppliers to ensure the quality of stock purchases.
• Coordinating the logistics of purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, tagging, and processing.
• Tracking inbound and outbound orders to prevent overstocking and out-of-stock (OOS).
• Analyzing and reviewing supply chain data to identify and resolve issues.
• Analyzing purchase and pricing reports, supply chain analysis, and inventory management systems.
• Performing regular stock checks and reporting any issues.
• Maintaining and updating records of purchase orders, pricing reports, and inventory records.

Key Skills and Experience for the role: 

• Bachelor’s Degree qualification 
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Managing Logistics & Warehousing functions 
• Experience using SAP system
• Experience with strategic management of inventory forecasting and projection reporting
• Proven experience managing multiple priorities and the ability to pivot with ease as required
• Proven experience liaising with multiple stakeholders within a large organization, including both internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in a fast paced and complex environment.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel Skills
• Experience in leading high level of OH&S standards within an FMCG industry
