Warehouse Team Manager - FMCG - Hiring Immediately

Opportunity for a Warehouse Team Manage to join a large Automated Distribution Centre on their PM Shift!

This role offers the opportunity to work for a state-of-the-art facility with a global FMCG organization.

As a Team Manager, your ability to lead, motivate, and foster growth among your team will be invaluable. You'll play a key role in energizing and empowering your colleagues, all while maintaining a strong focus on Safety and Compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations within the facility, providing operational leadership, direction, and support to team members.
• Assist in reviewing process improvements and maintaining operational activities to enhance efficiency, service, safety, and value.
• Manage delivery activity and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Motivate, encourage, and challenge team members to excel.
• Conduct regular performance appraisals, offering constructive feedback, coaching, and guidance to support professional development.
• Foster an environment that aligns with Quality, Compliance, Safety, Reliability, and Cost standards.
• Support the implementation of change initiatives.
• Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in leading teams of 20 or more.
• Available to support PM operations from 3 pm onwards.
• Strong background in performance metrics.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey messages effectively internally and externally.
• Proficient in data analysis, driving data-driven decisions.
• Capable of making agile decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with lean and six sigma processing principles.
• Tertiary qualifications in lean, supply chain, manufacturing, or logistics are highly regarded.
