Electronic Equipment Technician

Twilight Signs Installations and Maintenanceis looking for an Electronic Equipment Technician to work on our Belmore NSW 2192 office.

This opportunity is a full-time position (38 hours per week). 

Position Responsibilities and Tasks 

- Conducting site assessments and collaborating with clients to understand their signage requirements, ensuring alignment with their branding and promotional goals. 

- Installing and configuring electronic equipment such as LED displays, digital signage and illumination systems for various signage applications, including high-rise sky signage. 

- Fabricating and assembling steel structures to support signage installations, ensuring durability and stability, particularly in challenging environments.

- Manufacturing signage components with precision and attention to detail, utilising advanced techniques and equipment to produce high-quality products. 

- Performing maintenance and repairs on electronic equipment and signage systems to ensure optimal functionality and longevity, minimising downtime for clients. 

- Collaborating with design teams to integrate illumined signage and digital graphics seamlessly into architectural structures and environments, enhancing visual impact and brand presence. 

- Utilising vinyl graphics and digital printing technologies to produce customised signage solutions that meet clients' specific branding and promotional requirements. 

- Adhering to safety protocols and regulations during all stages of signage installation and maintenance, prioritising the well-being of personnel and the public. 

Qualifications and Skills: 

- Relevant qualifications.

- A minimum of two years' experience in a similar role. 

- Proficiency in electronic equipment installation, troubleshooting and repair techniques, with a keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and reliability. 

- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues with electronic signage systems effectively. 

- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics and blueprints to plan and execute signage installations accurately. 

- Experience with steel fabrication techniques and equipment, including welding and metalworking, to construct sturdy support structures for signage installations.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients, colleagues and other stakeholders throughout the signage project lifecycle.

Salary:

The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $70,000 to $80,000, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
