Job Description - Office Administration - Urgent Hire

We are on the lookout for a proactive Office Administration to join our all-star team at AUSTRALIAN RECYCLING AND EQUIPMENT in Sumner, Brisbane QLD.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator and Support to join our team. As an Office Administrator and Support, you will be responsible for providing administrative assistance to our team, ensuring the smooth operation of the office, and delivering exceptional support to our employees and clients.

 

*Key Responsibilities:*

- Provide administrative support to the team, including preparing reports, presentations, and other documents as needed

- Manage and maintain accurate records and files, both physical and digital

- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and phone calls

- Coordinate travel arrangements, meetings, and appointments

- Maintain office supplies and inventory

- Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting

- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and visitors

- Develop and implement efficient administrative processes and procedures

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination

- Perform other administrative tasks as required

- Cash ups and balancing

 

*Requirements:*

 

- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

- 2+ years of experience in office administration or a related field

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

*Nice to Have:*

 

- Experience with office management software and systems 

- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices

- Certification in office administration or a related field (e.g., Certified Administrative Professional (CAP))

-Xero Accounting Book-keeping experience

 

7AM-4:15PM Week days
