Job roles and responsibilities

We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled venue or restaurant manager to join our team. Responsibilities include:

• planning menus in consultation front of house and back of house teams
• planning and organising special functions
• arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget
• maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
• overseeing rostering and compliance
• ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance
• conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service
• selecting, training and supervising waiting and kitchen staff
• may take reservations, greet guests and assist in taking orders

Skills and experience

• Previous experience in a pub or restaurant
• Great communication skills.
• Ability to work well within a team.
• Responsible service of alcohol.
• Focused and able to follow directions.
• An understanding of service skills and the ability to prioritise our people
• Adaptable and keen to learn.
• Capable of building effective relationships with staff.
• Genuine interest in recruitment, training, and development.
• Exceptional communication and presentation.
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role
• Work visa can be provided for this role
