Construction Shopfitting Site Manager Full TimeTJD Installations comprises a team of experienced Trades-persons that deliver exceptional quality shop fit outs for Commercial Projects, in retail shop and office fitouts and hospitality. We are a small business located in Heidelberg West, Melbourne, Victoria. TJD Installations is seeking an experienced full time Site Manager to join our highly skilled team, with a great working environment and conditions for the right candidate.A background in shopfitting, cabinet making or carpentry is preferred.About TJD Installations - RoleAs a Site Manager and leader in our Company, reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will have:Clear communication skills, in order to effectively communicate with trades, clients and fellow staffExceptional organisational skills and ability to prioritise and meet deadlinesAn excellent understanding of construction drawingsProficient in technology - Emails, Microsoft Office Suite, Solid understanding and the ability to maintain Safety, Environmental and Quality policiesThe ability to predict and manage project delaysResolve any disputes that may arise onsiteUncompromising commitment to quality workmanship in all aspects of the ProjectThe ability to mentor and develop colleagues onsiteA Trade BackgroundRequired Skills & ExperienceThe successful applicants typical day will look like:Reporting to the company's Operations Manager you will be responsible for;Day to Day supervision of site, suppliers, trades and stakeholders whilst ensuring our projects are delivered to company standardsEnsuring WHS practices/procedures are received, communicated, and followed onsite to ensure a safe workplace at all timesManage the project to meet construction program, specification and budgetLiaise with architects, engineers, contractors and stakeholdersMaintain and control all on-site records and ensure best building practiceWe have a fantastic skilled team, a great working environment and conditions. An immediate start available for the right team TJD Installations sounds like a company you’d like to be a part of and you have the required experience, expertise, and drive to work in the exciting shopfitting industry, we encourage you to contact us and apply now.
