  • Analyse project progress against milestones and report efficiencies achieved.
  • Study old contracts, liaise with internal stakeholders for contract renewals or terminations, and act as a key commercial advocate for the contract portfolio.
  • Foster relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, demonstrating advanced understanding of contractual rights and obligations, as well as safety leadership.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation and company policies, recognising and acting on commercial risks, and ensuring adherence to contract management procedures and processes.

You don’t need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of:

  • Experience in contract development/management and a fair understanding of project management principles.

  • Demonstrated commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and effective engagement abilities.
  • Excellent written communication skills for preparing contractual notices and commercial documents.
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, providing solutions to issues.
  • Good interpersonal skills for consulting, negotiating, and managing relationships with stakeholders.
  • Initiative, organizational skills, ability to work independently and in a team, optimizing business outcomes and solving complex problems.
