Position/Role Description WokrPac are currently seeking an experienced Driller Offsider to be apart of our clients Western Australian based drilling company. Specialising in Environmental Drilling, Geotechnical Drilling, Water Well Drilling, Exploration, Utility Clearance and Earthing and Anode services. Be apart of the company and a variety of drilling techniques including direct push, sonic drilling, diamond core, hallow stem auger, mud and air rotary, and reverse circulation, with deep well and low clearance capabilities. Successful candidates will be required to operate from the BHP Yarrie Mine Site on a 2:1 roster from Perth, WA. Your Duties Will Include Help move drilling rigs and equipment from site to site. Connect power cables or hoses for water and air supply. Help obtain drilling core samples. Dig and clean mud pits and drains. Mix and test drilling fluids, chemicals and grout. Assist in slotting, welding and inserting casing screens. Assist with well development and pumping tests. Operate equipment, such as pumps for air, water and mud. Use equipment and tools to correct problems in drilled holes caused by mechanical breakdowns or by harmful natural conditions. Carry out minor maintenance and repairs, including lubrication and cleaning. Clean and maintain equipment, drill and camp sites.
