It operates in over 43 countries and employs 11,000 employees.This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, ambitious and career orientated executive to join an organisation with the career opportunities a global firm provides with the value, appreciation and recognition local firms offer.Reporting into the Head of Delivery, the Delivery Manager will be responsible for the delivery of regionally based live, hybrid and on demand will be required to travel to events to lead and manage the day-to-day tasks of the team, efficiently and effectively.Success will be aligned to the delivery of high quality, cost-effective and sustainable event experiences to agreed KPI’s and achieving ongoing product improvement reflected in customer satisfaction and NPS scores.Delivery (70%)Personally lead & deliver on F2F, hybrid & virtual eventsFollow the end-to-end process guidelines to ensure tasks are completed on time and to budgetTrouble shoot any problems on the day keeping stakeholders up to date throughoutLiaise with all key stakeholders (internal and external) for seamless executed eventsContinually review processes and practice to identify obsolete workflows and tools with little customer value or ROI and feedback to your line managerWorking in partnership with internal teams, vendors and suppliers to deliver high quality hybrid eventsTasks include but are not limited to;Speaker management – including but not limited to: initial contact letter, gather and communicate hotel & technical requirements, coordinate presentation material and video recordings, arrange technical tests, cross check agendas across various online platforms, collaborate with production team on changes to agendaSponsor and Exhibitor management – including but not limited to: maintain accurate sponsor and exhibitor log based on signed contracts, build online exhibition manuals and fully manage sponsorship/exhibition clients to meet all contracted deliverables, update exhibition floor plans and booth lists, manage collection of sponsor logos, oversee registration of contracted passesAct as main speaker and/or sponsor/exhibitor liaison, answering questions and fulfilling requestsPrepare, proof, organise production and arrange delivery of necessary materials for onsiteWork with vendors to research and order necessary deliverablesRegular engagement and feedback with key internal and external stakeholders to build an effective working relationshipAttend all scheduled meetings with internal stakeholders such as marketing, digital specialists, spex and the wider delivery communityFollow a customer-first approach that provides efficient, effective and value add service to our vertical and brand teamsPerformance of special projects in collaboration within delivery or with other teams as requestedManage and maintain excellent relationships with clients, expert partners and colleagues to uphold a corporate image of ethics, professionalism, quality and standardsLeadership (10%)Manage the onsite delivery being the go to person for any problems and linking key stakeholders together for a seamless event experienceLead by example and embed Connect’s inclusive behaviors into your everyday practices to encourage an inclusive culture across the wider teamEnsure all events follow the H&S Operating Model and Incident Management Frameworks are followed and adoptedChampion Connect initiatives, advancing the Faster Forward sustainability agenda (ensuring The Fundamentals are submitted in a timely manner for all events)Mitigate risk of attrition with key categories of spend (venues, bedroom blocks)Planning & Budgeting (10%)Manage all event invoices to ensure accurate coding and timely payment with financeResponsible for timely submission of event costs on the forecasting toolOperational experience in the B2B and / or B2C events industry and an established track record of successfully delivering live events and experiences necessaryDemonstrable experience of multi-platform delivery of live experiences and working with service providers of both physical and digital event productsA team player with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levelsDisplay commercial and financial awareness – and proven ability to deliver against KPI’sProven ability to effectively managemultiple projects and work in a fast-paced environmentExperience of managing P&L budgets and delivering accurate, timely forecasting and reportingTech savvy and willing to adopt and embrace new technologiesDetail-oriented, excellent written and verbal skills, extremely organizedUnderstanding of how to use data in decision makingHigh level of sustainability knowledge and experience of delivering against sustainability goalsPositive can-do attitude.
