As Executive Director (North) you will:
• provide leadership and strategic direction in the provision of program and project management for the asset management, construction, rehabilitation and maintenance of all types of roads, structures (including bridges), other civil works elements and responding to disruptive events.
• provide state-wide leadership and be a contributing member of the RoadTek Leadership Team.
As a senior executive, your performance will be assessed according to a number of key accountability perspectives, including financial, stakeholder and outcome, internal business and learning and growth.
To thrive in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:
• extensive experience across the public, private and/or not for profit sector,
• a strong background in strategy and policy implementation, service delivery, and client service,
• a proven track record as an agent of change in challenging environments and in fostering a confident and capable workforce.
This role reports to the General Manager (RoadTek) and has 7 direct reports -
Operations Manager (Cairns), Operations Manager (North Queensland), Operations Manager (Mackay), Operations Manager (Central Queensland), Principal Manager (Structures Management Services), Construction Manager (RoadTek North), Administration Coordinator (RoadTek North).
Conditions
A criminal history check and declaration of interests will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
The location of this position is negotiable from the following locations: Cairns, Townsville, Rockhampton or Mackay.

• Proven experience in Engineering, Construction, Project and Program Management,
• Proven experience in People Leadership and Performance Management,
• Proven experience in Business Management.
