Northparkes uses multiple mining methods including open pit, sub-level caving and was the first mine in Australia to use the block cave mining method. About the role As a Loader / Bogger Operator, reporting to the Development Supervisor – your primary responsibility will be to safely operate a fleet of underground loaders for sub-level cave development loading activities via crushers and or trucks. Other responsibilities include: Assisting with general maintenance tasks related to your equipment Performing acting duties of other roles (service crew, charge up, underground dump truck etc) when required. This role is offered on a lifestyle friendly 7/7 roster, living residential.  Relocation assistance available You will be eligible for our quarterly bonus scheme, as well as future opportunities to work interstate or overseas. About You As a successful candidate you will have: Proven experience operating large underground load haul dump units (LHDU) in a large scale mining operation ie. Caterpillar 2900 A strong commitment to consistent and safe production, utilising quality and best practice concepts; The ability to encourage a safe and efficient working environment; The ability to support and mentor other team members.
