Do you have a passion for the outdoors!Be a part of an exciting, progressive, and dynamic organisation!Can you work independently and as part of our team?Multiple Opportunities About the roleThe Plant Operator B will undertake the efficient maintenance of the City of Coffs Harbour (the City) controlled green spaces (reserves and roadside verges) to control, trim and reduce vegetation through mowing, brush cutting and herbicide application.The successful candidate will have experience in the maintenance of greenspaces and the ability to undertake the safe use of one or more of the following plant items: Tractor slasher / flail mowerReach / bank slasher,Small/medium truckOther specialised mowing implements. Undertaking safe operation of plant & machinery.The expertise to communicate effectively across multiple platforms.A genuine passion to work in the outdoors space.Skills to manage and prioritise tasks. Salary from $53,789.00 + SuperannuationGuaranteed 6.5% award increase on base salary delivered incrementally across 2024 / 2025.Permanent Full Time 38 hours per weekCoffs Coast BasedGenerous leave entitlements - long service leave after 5 yearsScope for performance-based salary increases. Essentials Qualifications and Experience Certificate III in Civil Construction or equivalent relevant experienceCurrent Class Medium Rigid (MR) Drivers LicenceNational Construction Induction Certification (Whitecard). Desirable AQF3 Chemical AccreditationSafeWork NSW Traffic Control Work (TCR)SafeWork NSW Traffic Control Work (IMP)First Aid Certificate.2 years' experience in the maintenance of greenspaces, including experience in tractor driving.
