Job Description - Project Coordinator

We’re looking for a Project Coordinator that can hit the ground running and provide high quality support on multiple projects across different clients.

This is a busy and exciting role that will contribute directly to the success of amazing projects for the benefit of children, educators, families, and communities!

Key responsibilities

  • Provide support to the organisation to enable the achievement of the organisation’s vision, mission, and goals.
  • Support Projects and People to enable them to meet defined objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and proactively work to resolve problems, address identified risks and issues, and achieve project objectives.
  • Plan and coordinate project activities, including scheduling, reporting, document control, collating budgets and expenditure data, scheduling meetings, taking minutes and actions, coordinating project activities, and facilitating project communications.
  • Maintain digital Project sites (we use and LOVE ASANA) and document repositories.
  • Document, update, and communicate project risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions.
  • Carry out your role in a manner that exemplifies the organisation’s values.

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience working in a project role, that has many projects running concurrently.
  • Experience in providing support to leadership teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Skilled in effective time management, prioritising work, and multi-tasking in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Confident in using technology to complete tasks, enhance processes and improve efficiencies.
  • Advanced skills and experience in using technology and systems to be paperless and streamlined.
  • High level understanding of project management processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to construct and maintain project related documents, including financial documentation.
  • Experience in supporting the coordination of meetings, presentations, workshops, and information sessions, both face to face and in a digital environment.
  • Able to constructively and professionally share suggestions, feedback and recommendations with the goal of achieving project objectives.
  • Skilled in providing high level internal and external customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Highly beneficial to have a qualification in project management, project administration, or business administration.
  • Working with Children Check as relevant to state or territory (QLD Blue/Exemption Card)
  • Current driver’s license
  • Able to travel between their home, the office and throughout Australia.
