 Kogan People Solutions is working with a celebrated successful café which attracts happy locals who flock there for brekkie, brunches, lunch, and all things in between, all of which ooze with flavour. The menu is described as offering a delicious family friendly menu which caters to lots of differing taste buds, there’s lots on offer to enjoy.

To cement their reputation, and to continue to successfully grow, Kogan People Solutions are assisting this busy venue as they seek a skilled and qualified Restaurant Manager to join them. You’ll be proud to lead the team here. The role is full time and ongoing.

• Generous salary circa in the range $70k to $75k plus superannuation per annum.
• Busy dining and shopping precinct in East Bentleigh Vic
• Open throughout the week

About you

You have a passion for the hospitality industry and are familiar with a premium menu offer. You can demonstrate an unwavering commitment to service and premises presentation of the very highest standard, whilst aligning and motivating a cohesive and hardworking team environment.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the Restaurant Manager s and business ownership team to plan and introduce new menus and menu items to maximise sales considering customer feedback, seasonal variations, costs, and other relevant information.
• Development and training of all wait staff.
• Recruit, oversee and supervise front of house staff
• Meet and greet patrons, regularly gather valuable feedback.
• Management of stock levels and financial records
• Be responsible for purchasing and pricing with a view to managing COGS and ensuring appropriate budget outcomes.
• Ensure strict adherence with OH&S and Food Safety standards.

• Possess excellent relevant qualifications (Diploma or better), or agreed substitute 
• Have at least 2 to 3 years (preferably more) professional experience working in a restaurant management role since earning your qualifications.
• Are a flexible, hands on, energetic and proactive leader. 
• Are available across the working week including weekends and nights. 
• Offer proven ability to prioritise, set goals and have the determination to achieve them.
• Have a passion for delivering exceptional food service & customer experience.
• Enjoy being professionally presented and enjoy liaising with patrons.
• Have unrestricted full time Australian working rights.
