Security Administrator

Responsible for the installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of Juniper, Checkpoint firewalls and Citrix NetScaler

Description

• Configure and maintain various Checkpoint, Juniper, Citrix products.
• Implement and enforce security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, access controls etc
• Manage upgrades and migrations of firewall and infrastructure to ensure protection of Clients information and assets.
• Daily administration includes maintenance of various components associated with a Citrix environment
• Enable remote access by designing, implementing, and overseeing various Virtual Private
• Network (VPN) architectures and technologies and aligning these solutions to operational requirements.
• Monitor network performance to ensure system availability and reliability, perform network troubleshooting
• to isolate and diagnose complex network problems.
• Identify and resolve network-related problems, including connectivity, latency, and bandwidth issues.
• Provide 24 x 7 coverage on First and 2nd level support as required by being on call

Profile

• Strong understanding of IT operations infrastructure systems
• Proven ability to advise on security architectural design and requirements for new system development.
• In-depth awareness of ongoing IT Security threats and issues
• Certified information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA) in XenApp and/or XenServer with Netscaler knowledge
• Juniper Networks certifications, such as JNCIA, JNCIS, or JNCIP, are advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and IPsec.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• A commitment to network security best practices.
