In 2023, EACON established its Australian branch in Perth, WA. By leveraging existing experience and establishing a new local team, EACON aims to expand its operations in Australia and contribute to the transition towards an autonomous and green future. As a result of continuous company growth, we are currently seeking an experienced Senior HR Generalist to join our Perth team. The Senior HR Generalist will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive HR support and guidance to all internal stakeholders. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including recruitment, employee relations, policy development, and payroll administration, to ensure the smooth operation of HR functions within the organization. Responsibilities Offer generalist HR guidance and support to all internal stakeholders, including employees and managers.  Lead the full-cycle recruitment process, for both Perth-based and FIFO roles, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for new hires, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and onboarding process. Develop advice, policies, procedures, and strategic documents related to complex employment matters, in alignment with company objectives and statutory requirements.  Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Proactively manage employee relations issues, conflicts, and internal investigations, driving best practices and promoting a positive work environment.  Collaborate closely with the legal team on industrial relations matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations and providing guidance to local and regional stakeholders.  Coordinate performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and performance improvement plans as needed. Manage HR administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records, processing payroll changes, and managing benefits administration.  Assist the wider business with general HR queries and requests, fostering strong relationships and promoting a culture of transparency and accountability. Attend and contribute to bi-weekly company meetings, providing updates on HR initiatives and addressing any relevant concerns or challenges. Interpret all relevant modern awards, enterprise agreements, legislation, and regulations, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks for the organization.  Ensure timely and accurate processing of the end-to-end payroll function, maintaining confidentiality and liaising with employees, the HR team, and finance teams regarding payroll queries. Requirements Tertiary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred. Minimum 5 years work experience in the similar role, proven understanding of HR best practices and employment laws. Experience in the mining or heavy equipment industry preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems. Proven ability to effectively manage employee relations issues and resolve conflicts in a fair and consistent manner. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with employees at all levels of the organization. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
