ABOUT THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity has become available at Mainfreight Wharf, we are looking for a motivated and energetic CFS team member to join the team at our Banksmeadow site.  You will be required to have a can-do attitude, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.   You will be required to interact with internal and external carriers daily as well as Freight Forwarders nationally and international level. 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Ideally, the successful applicant will have a strong understanding of FAK Import and Export processes a minimum of 2yrs experience ideal, be familiar with Cargo wise as well as have thorough knowledge of Customs and Quarantine requirements. Ability to read and understand cargo manifests, the knowledge and ability to use ICS, 1-Stop.  Forklift licence not essential but ideal to have, a basic knowledge of DG / Haz cargo handling. Training will be provided along with continuous support of the CFS Supervisor and Depot Manager.
