Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) - Urgent Role - Part-Time

About us:

We are a Child Care & Kindergarten inspired by The Curiosity Approach located in Labrador. We are a privately owned, boutique 93 place centre. 

Due to increase in numbers, we are currently seeking a 2nd ECT to join our family!

We are after someone’s who Kindergarten Program is made with heart, soul and passion. Where their Kindergarten room have their children’s emotional, physical and developmental needs met in a wondrous way.

We are after a child-led ECT. Someone who lets children make their own choices, and figure things out for themselves.

About You

• You will be able to demonstrate an Early Childhood philosophy, supported by an age-responsive approach to teaching and learning.
• Previous experience in a similar Early Learning environment.
• Show a passion for Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Be a motivated and driven ECT, who will actively contribute to the program, through detailed observations & documentation.
• You will also share in our commitment to inspiring the children in our care to reach their full potential.
• Posses a strong level of communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with the children and families and other team members.

Successful Applicants must hold

• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or working towards and nearly finished) or equivalent as recognised by ACECQA 
• Have strong knowledge of and experience with implementing the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Child Safety Standards.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Full availability Monday to Friday.
