Job Description - Secretary

Job Description:


Cochlear Limited is seeking a part-time Secretary to join our team in Adelaide, South Australia. As a Secretary at Cochlear Limited, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. The successful candidate will be a motivated individual with excellent organizational skills and a proactive approach to managing tasks and responsibilities.


Responsibilities: - Manage and coordinate office tasks, such as filing, generating reports, setting up for meetings, and reordering supplies. - Act as the point of contact between executives and internal/external clients. - Screen and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence. - Organize and maintain the office filing system. - Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports. - Develop and maintain a comprehensive filing system. - Provide general support to visitors. - Act as the first point of contact for employees concerning administrative issues. - Coordinate scheduling and appointments. - Maintain the office calendar and schedule meetings.


Requirements: - 3 years of experience as a Secretary or similar role. - Proven work experience in a fast-paced environment. - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint). - Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. - Emotional intelligence and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. - Independent and driven personality traits. - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently. - Diploma in Office Management or similar field preferred.
