Job Description - Online Customer Support Assistant

Job Description:


We are looking for a passionate and confident Online Customer Support Assistant to join our team at Genworth Financial in Melbourne, Victoria. As an Associate Level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in customer support or a related field.


Responsibilities: - Respond to customer inquiries and provide solutions to their problems through various online channels (email, chat, social media, etc.) - Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring timely and accurate responses - Address customer complaints and escalate issues as needed to ensure a resolution - Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and enhance the overall customer experience - Utilize negotiation skills to handle difficult situations and reach mutually beneficial outcomes - Manage customer relationships and communicate effectively to build trust and loyalty - Keep accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the company database


Requirements: - 2+ years of experience in customer support or a related field - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Knowledge of basic computer software and online communication tools - Passion for helping customers and providing exceptional service - Confidence in handling challenging situations with a positive attitude - Soft skills in negotiation and people management - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
