Job Responsibilities:

As a Part-Time Night Auditor at Haven Glebe, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Conducting nightly audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of all financial transactions, including room charges, cash handling, and credit card transactions.
2. Managing the night shift operations, including guest check-ins and check-outs, responding to guest inquiries and requests, and ensuring smooth operations during the night.
3. Verifying the accuracy of guest accounts, resolving any discrepancies, and preparing detailed reports for management.
4. Ensuring the security and safety of the premises during the night, monitoring CCTV systems, and promptly addressing any security concerns or emergencies.
5. Assisting with administrative tasks, such as updating reservations, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records.
6. Collaborating with other hotel departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination between shifts.
7. Providing exceptional customer service to guests, addressing their needs, and resolving any issues or complaints in a professional and timely manner.

Job Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

1. Previous experience in a similar role as a Night Auditor or in a related hotel operations position.
2. Strong knowledge of the Protel Air Property Management System (PMS) or similar hotel management software (Opera etc.).
3. Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail to accurately handle financial transactions and reconcile accounts.
4. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and friendly manner.
5. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple tasks and priorities during the night shift.
6. Ability to work independently and take initiative while adhering to established procedures and guidelines.
7. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with guests and team members.
8. Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required in a 24/7 operation.
