Job Description - Customer Service Officer

Job Description:


Iluka Resources is seeking a passionate and adaptable Customer Service Officer to join our team in Melbourne, Victoria. As an Associate Level role, this part-time position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field.


Responsibilities: 1. Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person in a timely and professional manner. 2. Resolve customer complaints and issues effectively and efficiently. 3. Process orders, returns, and exchanges accurately. 4. Manage customer accounts and maintain accurate customer records. 5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues. 6. Identify opportunities for improvement in the customer service process and make recommendations to management.


Requirements: 1. Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively. 2. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. 3. Superior communication skills, both written and verbal. 4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer service software. 5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 6. High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.


Personality Traits: 1. Passionate about providing exceptional customer service. 2. Adaptable to changing customer needs and business requirements.


Soft Skills: 1. Project management skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines. 2. Critical thinking skills to analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
