Online Web Chat Associate

Job Description:

Steel Dynamics is seeking a part-time Online Web Chat Associate to join our team in Melbourne, Victoria, AU. The Online Web Chat Associate will be responsible for interacting with customers through online chat to provide assistance, answer inquiries, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Responsibilities: - Engage with customers through online chat to provide support, answer questions, and resolve issues. - Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing accurate and timely responses. - Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience. - Document all customer interactions and follow up as needed. - Stay up to date on product information and company policies to provide accurate information to customers. - Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team members for resolution. - Meet and exceed performance metrics related to response time, resolution rate, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements: - A minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service or a related field. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. - Independent and energetic personality traits. - Emotional intelligence and negotiation skills. - Experience using online chat platforms preferred. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business software applications. - High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications a plus.
